The Czechoslovak Heritage Museum
will hold an Open House on Sunday, September 27th,
from 1pm until 4pm.
The Museum, dedicated to preserving and fostering an appreciation for the Czech, Moravian and Slovak culture, history and language in America, is located in the headquarters of CSA Fraternal Life, 122 West 22nd Street, in Oak Brook.
Come tour the collections of crystal, costumes, paintings and sculpture, and enjoy the program that will include a presentation about the three-wheeled Velorex car. In addition, several owners of this unique vehicle will have their cars on display. Also, the acclaimed movie Power of Good, about Nicholas Winton (the man who saved 669 Czech children from the Nazis in 1938) will be shown. This film by Matej Minac won the International Emmy Award in 2002.
