BLB / Idiot!"

A play in Czech with English subtitles

Tells the story of a young man who, from birth, falls consistently short of his upper class family's grand expectations of him. In fact they consider him to be a disappointment and an idiot, and treat him accordingly. Unable, or un-willing to recognize their mistreatment of him this 'idiot' seeks refuge in his own imaginary world, developing some strange belief systems to protect himself from his environment; including the delusion that he could be the son of God. Until the dramatic conclusion to his story where the Idiot attempts to bring down his dysfunctional family with shocking consequences. 
The 'Idiot' stands alone on stage and talks to the audience, unraveling; slowly and cleverly; his incredible journey to this point in time, keeping the audience guessing how much of an idiot this 'idiot' really is.
