CZECH SYMPHONNY ORCHESTRA

Also known as the Janacek Philharmonic Orchestra of Ostrava, The Czech Symphony Orchestra was established in 1954. The 67- piece orchestra is making its debut tour in The United States this year. Led by conductor Theodore Kuchar, the program features F.B.Mendelssohn's concerto for violins and orchestra with J.Frautschi, and Dvorak's Symphony No.6 D major and Bedrich Smetana's "Vltava (Moldau)"
