Dolní Poustevna is a town on the Czech-German border with an unusual history.

After World War II almost all of the original inhabitants were forced to leave. Others have come for varying reasons to this town with no roots in order to start new lives.

Both films in Czech with English subtitles.

Lady Le Murie (Paní Le Murie)

A documentary film showing Baroness Le Murie in her ordinary life. This eighty-three year old lady lives alone in the family residence that is falling into disrepair. She does not mourn for those “good old times” but asks questions connected with human destiny .
