In honor of former President of the Czech Republic Václav Havel, who passed away on December 18, the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles, in cooperation with the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, is organizing a Václav Havel Memorial. The program starts at 7:00 PM and will include remarks by Petr Gandalovič, Czech Ambassador to the United States, Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wisenthal Center, and Michal Sedláček, Consul General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles.
