Puppet Workshop with Marcela Burdova. 
Czech tradition of the family puppet theaters and home puppet making was at a peak in the 1930s. Parents and their children made their puppets and costumes for them and very often they also wrote scripts for the puppet theater plays. 
The whole family was present at the performance and it was a show of their mutual team work. Puppets that you will make during this workshop are based on these traditions. You will assemble pieces together under the supervision of a puppet expert and you can choose from several types of traditional Czech characters. 

At the end of the workshop we can perform our own play.
