9 am ............................Czech/English Mass: Celebrant Rev. Joseph M. Hybner
Dome – Festival Admission $5 per person (Under 15 years old is free)
10 am ..........................Opening of Festival: Arts & Craft Exhibits, Country Store, Cake/Pastry wheel, etc.
10 - 11 am...................Pat Matula accordion music
11 am - 2 pm. ..............Czech stew & sausage dinner - $7 per plate
11 am - 1 pm...............Shiner Hobo Band
1:00 - 4:00 pm.............Czechaholics Band
3:30 - 4:00 pm.............CONCERT: Czechaholics & Red Ravens Bands
3:30 - 7:30 pm.............Red Ravens Band
2:00 pm.......................Auction of select items; during band intermissions
2:00 - 7:00 pm.............Sausage wraps available after dinner
5:00 pm.......................24th Texas State Championship Traditional Taroky Tournament winners displayed
5:00 pm.......................Homemade Beer & Wine Show winners displayed
6:00 pm.......................Raffle drawing, winners displayed
7:30 pm.......................Festival ends
** Kolaches, homemade chicken noodle soup & pigs-in-the-blanket available all day

9 am - 4 pm.................24th Texas State Championship Traditional Taroky Tournament
10 am - 3 pm...............Czech Heritage Museum (Display of historical, antique & treasured items & other interesting booths)
10:00 - 11:30 am.........Homemade Beer & Wine Show entries checked in by the Annex stage
Noon - 4:00 pm...........4th Annual Homemade Beer & Wine Show – Judging begins (Open to Judges and officials only during this time)
4:30 pm ......................24th Texas State Championship Traditional Taroky Tournament awards presentation
5:00 pm ......................Homemade Beer & Wine Show awards presentation
5:00 pm ......................Homemade Beer & Wine Show open to public - Limited tasting of entries (served by the owner/brewer)
CZECH DEMONSTRATIONS: (20-30 minute presentations by the Annex stage)
(Recipes and handouts for all demonstrations)
2:00 pm....... Churning Cream into Butter - Dorris Raska, VCCHS member, Victoria, TX.
4 additional demonstrations are being confirmed and will be added soon
5:00 pm....... Homemade Beer & Wine Show awards presentation; Adjourn to Festival activities which will last until 7:30 P.M.

Visit the Czech exhibit at the Victoria Public Library September 1 – 30, 2009. OCTOBER is “Czech Heritage Month” in Texas.
The Victoria County Czech Heritage Society has awarded their 2009 scholarship ($750) to Trevor Kurtz.
Trevor is the son of Tommy, Jr. and Terri Kurtz; grandson of VCCHS members Tommy, Sr. and Bernice (Srubar) Kurtz.
The Victoria County Czech Heritage Society is actively pursuing the interest of building a Czech Heritage Museum in Victoria. Any
