From the Stage to the Bar

Bohemian National Hall
A special performance by Zuzana Stivínová, a distinguished Czech
singer and actress. The concert is inspired by cabaret performances
and features a Czech, European and American repertoire. Recently,
Zuzana Stivínová played a leading role in the world premiere of Václav
Havel’s play “Leaving” and the Miloš Forman directed jazz opera
“A Walk Worthwhile.” She was also awarded the Radok Theatre Award
and nominated three-times for the Czech Film Academy Award
“Czech Lion.” All members of the accompanying Robert Balzar Trio –
Robert Balzar (bass), Stanislav Mácha (piano) and Jiří Slavíček
(drums) – are internationally recognized jazz instrumentalists.
