In collaboration with the Alley Theatre, the Czech Center Museum Houston is promoting

the award winning play Rock ‘n’ Roll, 

which opens April 24th through May 24, 2009.

Playwright Czech-born Londoner Tom Stoppard’s sweeping and passionate play spans two countries, three generations and twenty-two turbulent years, at the end of which, love remains – and so does Rock ‘n’ Roll.  It begins in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1968 when the occupying Russian tanks are rolling in, ending in 1990 retelling the story of the Velvet Revolution.
