Book Reading: The Three Golden Keys and presentation on the Czech Republic
This event is part of the Kids Euro Festival 2010!
         
In the book The Three Golden Keys, by Peter Sís, a man in a hot-air balloon gets blown off course in a violent storm and lands in the city of his youth. He finds the way to his old home, but the house is dark, with three rusty padlocks on the door. A black cat with eyes of fire appears and leads him through Prague's silent streets in search of the three golden keys that will unlock the door to his past. Cultural Counselor Barbara Karpetova will read from Petr Sís‘ book The Three Golden Keys as well as talk about the Czech Republic and the city of Prague to local students at the Martin Luther King Library.
