 Czech Children's choir Viola

The Czech children's choir Viola will give a public performance at the St. Christopher's Episcopal Church located at 8001 Annapolis Road, New Carrollton, MD 20784.  The concert will feature selections by famous composers from bach to Dvorak as well as gospel and modern classics. The program will also include folk songs from Bohemia and Moravia. Viola consists of 35 students in grades 3-11 from the small town of Zamberk International Friendship Association (ZIFA) which organizes projects for young people, scholars, professionals, and everyday citizens.Founded 21 years ago in Zamberk, Viola participates in competitions and concerts across the Czech Republic as well as throughout Europe.  The choir works in partnership with the Zamberk International Friendship Association (ZIFA), which organizes projects for young people, scholars, professionals, and everyday citizens.
